Waking Up in Hong Kong

February 10, 2010 at 6:17 am (family, Hong Kong) (, , , )

Today, I woke up thinking I was back in Hong Kong, like I shouldn’t be waking up yet.  Back in Hong Kong, I had no responsiblities.  I could do anything I wanted and be wherever I wanted.  It’s a sense of independence I feel whenever I’m in a foreign country or when I’m not living at home.  Here, there’s miles and miles of responsiblity to my family.  It’s just a freeing feeling.  I love them, but sometimes I feel like I give to much of myself and my life to them, that it’s not really appreciated.  I just wish that I cn fully live my life the way I want to.
